No software can magically stop every problem in a shop. But clear records make theft harder to hide.
Start with individual accounts
Do not let all shopkeepers use one shared account. Each person should record sales from their own access.
This helps you see who made each sale and when it happened.
Record every sale immediately
The rule should be simple: when a product leaves the shop, the sale is recorded.
If sales are recorded later from memory, mistakes become easier.
Compare sales with cash and stock
At closing time, compare:
- SIM sales records
- Cash collected
- Mobile Money notes
- Remaining stock
If the numbers do not match, check the issue while the day is still fresh.
Watch low-stock and fast-moving items
Small items can disappear easily. Phone accessories, cosmetics, and boutique items should be checked often.
Build a clear routine
Tell the team how SIM will be used. The goal is not to accuse people. The goal is to protect the business with clear records.
